Mission Statement
Tearfund aims to enable communities and individuals to break out of the poverty spiral in which they are trapped. We seek to achieve this by supporting existing community structures.
Although our motivation is from our Christian faith, we seek to help any one in need regardless of religion, race, gender, age or political persuasion.
The development relevance and partnership are the guiding principle to achieve the overall objective. Criteria are among other things: institutional and managerial capacity building, economical and social impact, technical and financial feasibility, efficiency of the planned implementation procedures. |
