Mission Statement

Tear unites people in the combat against poverty by:
supporting local partner organisations elsewhere in the world,
appealing to Christians in the Netherlands to accept and be aware of the necessity of eradicating poverty,
arranging exchanges and connections that enable mutual learning and encouragement.

Personnel in the field

Tear works entirely through the staff of national organisations in the field.
It also provides technical assistance by temporary secondment of local experts or expatriates when appropriate.
