| Countries of operation in 2008 Tearfund supports over 250 partners in 35 prioritized geographical areas covering 45 countries: Latin America and Caribbean: Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, Peru Africa: Angola, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Central African Republic, Chad, Cote d’Ivoire, DR Congo, Egypt, Ethiopía, Guinea, Kenya, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Níger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe Eurasia: Afganistán, Kyrgystan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistán Asia: Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Lao PDR, Nepal, Myanmar, Vietnam. Moreover, Tearfund works though the Micah Network of Christian agencies in 100 countries. Tearfund also runs operational relief work through its Disaster Management Team (DMT), with programmes in: Afghanistan, Burundi, DR Congo, Indonesia, Kenya, Liberia, North and South Sudan, Pakistan |
