Mission Statement

Woord en Daad wants to fight poverty in Africa, Asia and Central-America from a Christian perspective.
Through local organizations we want to provide a decent existence for the poor. To do this we make an appeal to everyone’s responsibility both here and over there. Woord en Daad would like to be a strong and reliable link between you and the poor in our area of work.
Countries of operation in 2008

Africa: Angola, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Liberia,
Sierra Leone, Chad, Zambia, South Africa
Asia: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Philippines, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand
Central and South America: Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, Colombia

Basic needs – water, food, health including HIV/AIDS prevention and care
