Seeking a Career in Humanitarian / Development Aid? LÄKARMISSIONEN Läkarmissionen provides two different kinds of scholarships offering opportunities for short term experience (minimum of 6 weeks) of work with development projects;
In both cases an allowance is paid. Applicants should be Swedish.
1. ‘Youth’ scholarships for applicants aged 18-25.
2. ‘Volunteer’ scholarships for those over 25. Some relevant training / experience is required.

MEDAIR
The first step in becoming a Medair field worker is to apply for the mandatory Relief and Rehabilitation Orientation Course (ROC). The ROC is an 8-day training and evaluation course that takes place three times a year in a European country.
