This online session brings together members and local partners/implementers who are part of EU-CORD, ACT Alliance EU, and Caritas Europa to discuss some of the issues around EU funding and trends.

Expected Outcomes:

• Participants have a deeper understanding of the Team Europe approach to international cooperation.
• Participants are aware of the main trends and issues in the EU institutions’ funding relationships with CSOs, including the role of EU Delegations and the practice of “indirect management”.
• Participants understand the practical implications of this approach and these trends for access by CSOs (including local CSOs) to EU development funding.
• A few key recommendations for future fundraising and for advocacy action towards the European Commission are identified.
