Rights-Based Programming Workshop

Target Group: This is an introductory session and is open to EU-CORD members and their national implementing partners.

Development programming to a greater or lesser extent is based on the principles underlying rights-based approaches.  We will be seeking to understand what this means and how we articulate this in donor proposals.  We will be seeking to answer these questions:

1. What are the origins of rights-based logic in development?
2. How does it differ from needs-based programming?
3. How do I include rights-based language and logic in proposals?

We will draw on the experience of members to present and discuss this topic.
