This second session will continue to explore the role of INGOs in implementing the triple nexus with a special consideration for the action, framings and experience of local actors and local faith actors, integrating also considerations specific to climate, conflict and gender.

Background

At the beginning of 2022, EU-CORD started working with its members to pull together their experiences of working with the humanitarian-development-peace nexus. In this process, members called for additional information on the peace dimension given the challenges linked with defining this leg of the triple nexus. In order to address this matter in the most fruitful way and in the spirit of partnership, we reached out to two other faith-based networks – ACT Alliance EU and Caritas Europe – to participate together in the organization of a webinar series.

This three-sessions series is envisaged as a learning opportunity and as an occasion for exchange of experiences for practitioners responsible for nexus programming and implementation.
