In the first part of this WASH Session, we will hear about the implications of droughts/floods on WASH infrastructures and the resulting effects on local communities. Building upon this, we will further explore existing preparedness means in the WASH sector and elaborate on their sustainability and shortcomings. The second part of this session is planned to be an interactive exchange to get your experience & expertise, to get insights into (common) challenges/best practices and to collect suggestions for improvements. Join us on a journey to learn, to connect, to contribute your practical experience (i.e. short best practice example) and ultimately exchange means to support the WASH preparedness of local communities.
