In partnership with civil society organisations worldwide, CONCORD has developed a series of resources to strengthen civil society participation in EU decision-making processes, particularly in the field of international cooperation. Rooted in a vision for just, inclusive, and sustainable societies, this work advocates for a shift towards genuine co-creation and equitable partnerships with civil society in all its diversity. CONCORD is now launching a Meaningful Engagement Platform to put this paper into action: Building partnerships through meaningful consultation: 7 practices for civil society participation in EU decision-making”,
The platform aims to:
- Facilitate knowledge sharing among civil society organisations on how to effectively engage with EU institutions
- Collect and analyse experiences of EU consultations, helping shape evidence-based recommendations for improved dialogue
Register before September 22 to join us for the platform launch
The online event – in English, Spanish and French – will include a practical training session, peer exchange opportunities, and a full introduction to the platform’s features.
We warmly invite all EU-CORD members and partners to take part.
