Current Priorities
Faith in Action
- As part of our Reframing Partnership work, developing a partnership survey to gather insights on the relationship between members and their national implementing partners.
- Finalising and disseminating the “Barriers to Partnership” and participating in PaRD initiatives on the intersection between religion and development.
- The physical and virtual Faith in Action Forums facilitate information sharing, encouragement, and strategic planning.
- A new member led initiative looking at faith, the climate and the environment enables members to examine how faith plays a key part in responding to this daunting challenge helping us get our approaches right.
Our programme portfolio
EU-CORD’s programme portfolio includes several key areas, each designed to strengthen our network’s capacity for humanitarian, development, and advocacy work.
This dedicated programme integrates capacity-building initiatives, including workshops, seminars, and roundtables. It offers members and their counterparts, opportunities for mutual learning and knowledge sharing on various topics, with most activities taking place online to facilitate global participation.
Focusing on the impact of faith organisations through project monitoring, evaluation, and learning lenses. It brings together members interested in exploring and demonstrating the value faith-based organisations add to humanitarian and development work.
Expanded relationship-building opportunities beyond General Assembly meetings to foster strategic programming, advocacy, and fundraising partnerships. This initiative is built on the belief that mutual support among leaders strengthens the network.
Transitioned from fixed advocacy areas to a dynamic, member-led approach. Efforts are concentrated on linking members working on similar advocacy topics and facilitating connections from the grassroots to the EU level, thereby enhancing the advocacy reach.
Refocused to emphasise funding collaboration and partnership for humanitarian, development, and peacebuilding programming. It aims to create more opportunities for interaction beyond physical meetings, engaging members’ national counterparts and offices globally.
