The Humanitarian Partnership initiative strengthens collaboration among member organisations in responding to humanitarian crises, focusing on building robust partnerships to deliver effective, coordinated, and timely assistance.

In-Country Forums

In-country forums bring members together on the ground to address local challenges and opportunities, enhancing their ability to coordinate efforts, share resources, and amplify their impact.

Current Priorities

Funding and Partnerships

  • Conducting a comprehensive study of the members’ funding landscape to see what’s changing and how we can respond to funding challenges.
  • Analysing CONCORD/VOICE policy documents to provide actionable insights for fundraising strategies.
  • Maintaining our collaboration tools, including the Consultancy Pool, member Partnership Profiles and first contact lists.
  • Hosting physical and virtual Funding and Partnership forums and holding workshops for strategic reflections and learning.

Humanitarian Partnership

  • Strengthening collaboration among member organisations for effective humanitarian response.
  • Engaging in policy.

In-Country Forums

  • Further developing the In-Country Forum methodology.
  • Developing a toolkit and workshops to strengthen forum interactions, hosting regional meetings in Africa and Asia, and producing tailored newsletters.
  • Organising a Global In-Country Forum and bi-annual forum leaders’ meetings and offering 1:1 mentoring support fostering joint learning and networking.

Learning Space

This dedicated programme integrates capacity-building initiatives, including workshops, seminars, and roundtables. It offers members and their counterparts, opportunities for mutual learning and knowledge sharing on various topics, with most activities taking place online to facilitate global participation.

Faith in Action

Focusing on the impact of faith organisations through project monitoring, evaluation, and learning lenses. It brings together members interested in exploring and demonstrating the value faith-based organisations add to humanitarian and development work.

CEO and Senior Leaders

Expanded relationship-building opportunities beyond General Assembly meetings to foster strategic programming, advocacy, and fundraising partnerships. This initiative is built on the belief that mutual support among leaders strengthens the network.

Advocacy Hub

Transitioned from fixed advocacy areas to a dynamic, member-led approach. Efforts are concentrated on linking members working on similar advocacy topics and facilitating connections from the grassroots to the EU level, thereby enhancing the advocacy reach.
