In Learning Space

Following the success of our pilot workshops and seminars earlier in the year which resulted in 9 seminars with over 300 people participating from across EU-CORDs membership (both members and their partners), we have developed the EU-CORD Learning Space concept.

Improving the practice and capacity of members through knowledge sharing, mutual learning and joint innovation is one of our core outcomes and we are pleased to meet this through workshops, seminars and roundtables on a variety of member-defined topics.

Our first workshop series will focus on ‘Growing your Institutional Fundraising Capacities‘ and you can find the full programme at the following link: http://online.anyflip.com/zusrw/omwb/

This course has been designed by Adrian Hawthorn who brings many years of experience working in Tearfund UK’s institutional fundraising team and who now works closely with the network and some of our members on a consultancy basis.

Course topics include:

  • Competencies required by an NGO
  • Who are the donors?
  • Partner assessments
  • Competitor/collaborator analysis
  • Donor application approval process
  • Growing institutional funding
  • Developing an institutional fundraising strategy

Registration for this workshop series and other planned events can be found on our Events page / https://www.eu-cord.org/our-work/events/

At the moment this workshop series is only open to EU-CORD members, their affiliates and partners. If you think your organisation could be interested in joining the network, then you can find our membership criteria here: https://www.eu-cord.org/contact/
