MzN have a lot of great content, and you will find the full range of their upcoming webinars here: MzN International events.
EU-CORD is, however, highlighting this webinar to our members as a number of you have indicated an interest in learning more about service contracts and what it takes to apply and manage them successfully.
Participate in the MzN webinar, and we will take the discussion further with an EU-CORD webinar later in the year.

What is the session about?
PaRD is a growing partnership with more than 160 members and several Workstreams and Taskforces. This sessions offers members a valuable opportunity to familiarise themselves with the structures of PaRD and explore how they can make meaningful contributions, particularly as the eagerly anticipated PaRD Annual Forum on Religion and Development 2023 approaches. Our objective is to empower members with insights into how their distinct expertise and perspectives can enrich this partnership.
Who can join?
This event is especially useful for newer PaRD members or new PaRD focal points. Yet, all members can take advantage of it to learn more about PaRD, ask questions, and find ways to get more involved.
Who will moderate the session?
Stefan Sengstmann, member of the PaRD Steering Board, and Andrea Mateja, Communications Specialist at the PaRD Secretariat, will give a brief introduction to PaRD structures and activities and answer questions.

EU-CORD members are invited to participate in this virtual Medair-hosted training.
The Process Excellence Energiser training inspires and equips NGOs, nonprofits and other development and humanitarian actors to continuously improve in order to reach more people in a better way with the limited resources entrusted to them.
Process Excellence integrates corporate world Lean and Six Sigma thinking, concepts and tools with development and humanitarian principles to enable organisations to achieve greater impact, empower and engage their teams, and continuously improve to make their work easier, better, faster and cheaper.
The training begins with an engaging three-hour experiential exercise that helps participants to grasp the thinking, concepts and tools in a tangible and memorable way. Then we cover:
- What is a process, and why are good processes important?
- What is Process Excellence, and why is it important?
- Eight types of waste that hinder our work
- Seven ways to improve for better process performance
- Toyota Kata (a structured method for continuously improving)
- Applying the learning
Training facilitator Andrew Parris shares his thoughts and experiences here: https://www.eu-cord.org/2023/02/achieving-greater-impact-in-a-better-way/.

EU-CORD members are invited to participate in this Medair-hosted training.
Achieving strategic objectives requires processes that work well, because processes are how we do our work on a repeated basis. Good processes get good results. They should not be complicated. When they are simpler, it is easier for us to achieve greater impact at lower cost.
This five-day, 40 hour, course provides intensive, interactive and hands-on exposure to Lean process improvement concepts and tools through live classroom learning and coached application to a process that you are a part of.
This course is tailored to the values and contexts of NGOs and other humanitarian and development actors. Thus, you will immediately be able to apply the concepts and tools to your work, to improve the impact, quality, and cost of your work with the world’s most vulnerable children, families and communities affected by crises and poverty.

The one-day Process Excellence Energiser training is a pre-requisite to this course.
There is no cost for this training.
In addition, Andrew will conduct face to face trainings on:
- 2-6 October (near Lausanne),
- 27 Nov – 1 Dec (in Nairobi).
There is also no cost for these training, but participants for face-to-face training will need to cover their own travel, lodging and food costs.

- Partnership and Consortia arrangements
- Value-add elements, including Third Party Support
